CVE-2023-30771Network attack vector

Unauthenticated workbench access via forged JWTs

Published Apr 17, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Incorrect authorization in Apache IoTDB Web Workbench 0.13.3 allows remote attackers to access the database console with forged JWTs. JJwtTool parses any token signed with its hard-coded HS512 secret without checking that the service issued it. No account or user interaction is required; a forged token exposes data operations and permission-management functions.
