CVE-2023-30770Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unchecked input length

Published Apr 17, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025

Stack overflow in affected ASUSTOR ADM 4.0, 4.1, and 4.2 releases allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. ASUSTOR has not identified the affected ADM component or the exact operation that accepts oversized data without validating its length. A low-privileged authenticated network session and high-complexity conditions are required; success executes chosen code and can alter data or interrupt the NAS.
