Denial of service in Dogecoin Core before 1.14.6 allows remote attackers to shut down nodes through crafted P2P consensus messages. Dogecoin has not published the specific parser or validation error; public details establish that peer discovery uses getaddr and malformed consensus messages trigger node termination. An unauthenticated network peer can interrupt an individual node, and systematic peer crawling permits repeated attacks across unpatched nodes.
