Improper authentication in KbDevice KB-AHR and KB-IRIP recorders allows remote attackers to obtain device credentials. The authentication path relies on guessable credentials, although the affected interface and credential-generation logic are undisclosed. Network access without prior credentials or user interaction is sufficient; the acquired credentials permit settings changes and command execution through the related command-injection flaw.
