CVE-2023-30743Network attack vector

Interaction blocking via untrusted CSS injection

Published May 9, 2023 · Updated Jan 28, 2025

Improper neutralization in SAPUI5 sap.m.FormattedText allows remote attackers to block application interaction via crafted CSS in affected SAP_UI releases. The control's sanitizer fails to restrict style and class attributes, allowing attacker-supplied CSS to alter rendered UI. Exploitation requires a victim to load content using the vulnerable control; without application URL validation, phishing can expose or modify user information.
