CVE-2023-30742Network attack vector

Stored script execution via underencoded malicious URLs

Published May 9, 2023 · Updated Jan 28, 2025

Stored XSS in affected SAP CRM WebClient UI S4FND and WEBCUIF releases allows remote attackers to execute script via a malicious URL. The WebClient UI stores attacker-controlled URL input without sufficient output encoding, so opening the URL injects script into the rendered page. Exploitation requires a victim to click the stored URL; the script runs in that victim's session and can read or modify session information.
