Local information disclosure via unrestricted implicit intent
Published Oct 4, 2023 · Updated Sep 19, 2024
Improper access control in Samsung Health before 6.24.3.007 allows local users to read sensitive information through an implicit intent. The Android application accepts an implicit intent without adequately restricting access, exposing protected data to another local application. A malicious application on the same device can trigger the disclosure without user interaction; the published record does not identify the exposed data.
