Published Jun 2, 2023 · Updated Jan 8, 2025
Unverified password change in TSolucio coreBOS before 8 allows remote attackers to reset user passwords through a crafted request. The modules/Vtiger/ExecuteFunctions.php handler performed the update through Users::change_password without the shared vtws_changePassword validation path. Exploitation requires user interaction; a successful reset enables the affected account's identity and privileges to be assumed.
