Improper access control in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Aug-2023 Release 1 allows local users to update fake location data. SLocationService accepts a fake-location update without enforcing the required permission on the caller. Exploitation requires local, high-privilege access and lets the caller falsify location data consumed by the device and its applications.
