Out-of-bounds access in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Jul-2023 Release 1 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The callrunTspCmd function in the sysinput HAL service fails to check a supplied buffer size before reading from and writing beyond its bounds. Affected models are selected Android 11, 12, and 13 devices, and Samsung's assessment requires high local privileges; successful exploitation permits code execution in the service context.
