Boot-attestation bypass via arbitrary TPM PCR extension

Security feature bypass in Insyde InsydeH2O 5.0 through 5.5 allows physically proximate attackers to falsify TPM PCRs. TrEEConfigDriver extends attacker-controlled values into PCR banks instead of preserving trustworthy boot measurements, allowing device-health checks to accept a compromised device as healthy. Exploitation requires physical access or compromised legitimate credentials and can conceal malware activity from PCR-based health checks.
