OS command injection in Gunivers Gipsy before 1.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root through the !ping command. The ping_adress path incorporates the supplied IP or hostname into a Bash ping invocation without validating it as a legitimate address. Any user able to send !ping to the bot can run commands with the bot host's sudoer permissions, exposing host data and services.
