Unauthorized form submissions via missing nonce verification
Published Apr 20, 2023 · Updated Feb 4, 2025
CSRF in Epiphyt Form Block before 1.0.2 allows remote attackers to submit WordPress forms through a victim's browser. The public form-block-submit AJAX handler's get_request method accepts form data without verifying a request-specific WordPress nonce. A victim must visit attacker-controlled content while the target form is reachable; successful requests create unauthorized form submissions.
