Use of default credentials in Hitron CODA-5310 7.2.4.7.1b3 allows remote attackers to gain administrator access through Telnet. The Telnet service accepts a factory-default account and password without prompting the device owner to replace them. Network reachability to Telnet is sufficient; successful login permits viewing or modifying system data, arbitrary system operations, and service interruption.
