Authenticated file disclosure via controllername path traversal
Published Jun 2, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Path traversal in Ice YFCMF-TP6 3.0.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read files via a crafted controllername value. The app/admin/controller/Ajax.php handler accepts parent-directory sequences in controllername and resolves the resulting path outside the intended directory. A low-privileged authenticated web session is required, and the documented consequence is file disclosure rather than code execution or service interruption.
