Session hijacking via malicious user-import file
Published Jul 13, 2023 · Updated Oct 22, 2024
Stored XSS in BD Alaris Systems Manager 12.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to hijack a user's session through a malicious import file. The User Import function stores attacker-controlled file content without safely neutralizing it before rendering it in a user's browser. Network access and user interaction are required; successful execution exposes the user's session and permits limited changes under that session.
