CVE-2023-30554Network attack vector

Database disclosure via unescaped Oracle database name

Published Apr 18, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025

SQL injection in Archery 1.9.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read connected Oracle databases via ExecuteCheck. The ExecuteCheck POST handler passes the db_name parameter through execute_check to explain_check, which embeds it in an Oracle SQL statement without neutralization. Exploitation requires low-privileged Archery access, a configured Oracle connection, and knowledge of its instance name; resulting queries expose database data.
