Credential exposure via unmasked configuration token
Published Apr 12, 2023 · Updated Feb 7, 2025
Credential exposure in Jenkins Report Portal Plugin 0.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to capture ReportPortal access tokens. The job configuration form renders the stored token without password masking, leaving its value visible rather than replacing it with obscuring characters. Access to the form and visual observation of its contents are required; disclosure permits reuse of the captured ReportPortal credential.
