CVE-2023-30514Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via push-mode log masking failure

Published Apr 12, 2023 · Updated Feb 7, 2025

Information disclosure in Jenkins Azure Key Vault Plugin 187.va_cd5fecd198a_ and earlier allows attackers to read credentials from build logs. The plugin fails to replace credential values with asterisks when sh or bat steps run on an agent and durable-task logging uses push mode. Exposure requires a Pipeline step to print a credential on an agent while the hidden push-mode property or an enabling plugin is active.
