Path traversal in the Aruba EdgeConnect Enterprise CLI allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files from the underlying OS. HPE has not disclosed which CLI command accepts crafted path input or how its path handling fails to confine file access. Administrative authentication is required, and the documented consequence is confidentiality loss through disclosure of host files, including sensitive system files.
