Path traversal in affected Aruba EdgeConnect Enterprise Software releases allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files through its CLI. HPE identifies the command-line interface as the affected locus but does not disclose which command accepts traversal sequences or how pathname validation fails. Authenticated CLI access is required, and exploitation exposes operating-system files, including sensitive system files, without reported modification or service interruption.
