Command injection in Aruba EdgeConnect Enterprise Software allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands as root. HPE has not disclosed which CLI command accepts crafted input or what validation failure reaches the underlying command executor. Administrative CLI credentials and network access to the management interface are required, and successful exploitation completely compromises the appliance.
