Unauthorized actions via missing nonce validation
Published Nov 10, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Tribulant Software Newsletters 4.8.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to manipulate forms and groups. The admin_groups() and admin_forms() functions process state-changing requests without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires inducing a logged-in site administrator to submit a forged request, and the documented consequence is limited to manipulating newsletter forms and groups.
