Authentication bypass in Milesight 4K/H.265 Series NVR firmware allows remote attackers to take over device accounts. The web management interface accepts crafted HTTP password-reset requests through a weak recovery mechanism without authenticating the requester. No credentials or user interaction are required, and successful exploitation permits unauthorized activity on the targeted recorder.
