Administrator-level code execution via C# script settings
Published Apr 14, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
Remote code execution in SmartPTT SCADA 1.1.0.0 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute C# code. The administrator control panel accepts a malicious C# script through server settings and executes that script on the server without restricting its commands. Access to the administrator interface on TCP port 8101, exposed by default, is required; successful exploitation permits arbitrary server commands, including shutdown.
