Service interruption via crafted table query
Published Jul 8, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Denial of service in IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5 allows remote attackers to interrupt service. A specially crafted query against certain tables triggers the failure, but IBM has not disclosed the affected Db2 function or faulty input operation. Current IBM scoring treats the network query as unauthenticated, and the reported consequence is limited to service availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
