Divide-by-zero in Xpdf 4.04 text extraction allows local users to crash pdftotext with a crafted PDF containing an oversized page. Text layout in TextOutputDev.cc accepts extreme page dimensions and reaches an unchecked zero divisor while building a TextLine. A user must open or convert the crafted file; the observed consequence is termination of the text-extraction process, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
