Published Jul 17, 2023 · Updated May 5, 2025

Stored XSS in Autochat Automatic Conversation 1.1.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through chatbot input. The plugin stores user-controlled chatbot text and returns it to a page without sanitizing the input or escaping the output. No authentication is required to submit the payload, but a visitor must load the affected page for the stored script to execute in that visitor's browser.
