Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked GetValue parameter
Published Apr 24, 2023 · Updated Feb 4, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC15 firmware 15.03.05.19 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or crash the router. GetValue passes a user-provided page parameter into a stack buffer without checking its length, allowing crafted data to overwrite adjacent memory. The request requires no authentication; successful exploitation permits remote code execution or a denial-of-service crash.
