CVE-2023-30354Public exploit

Physical credential disclosure and console access via UART

Published May 10, 2023 · Updated Jan 27, 2025

Credential exposure in Tenda CP3 11.10.00.2211041355 allows physically proximate attackers to read Wi-Fi credentials via UART. U-Boot prints configured Wi-Fi credentials in cleartext during startup, and its interruptible autoboot accepts a password hardcoded in the camera image. Physical access to internal UART pads is required; the password grants root U-Boot console access and exposes the connected network's Wi-Fi secret.
