Code execution via unsafe configuration deserialization
Published Apr 27, 2023 · Updated Jan 31, 2025
Code injection in JFinal CMS 5.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through the /ueditor route. ActionEnter constructs ConfigManager, whose initEnv method passes attacker-controlled WEB-INF/classes/config.json content to Fastjson JSONObject.parseObject. Exploitation requires replacement of that configuration file, such as through a separate backend file-upload flaw, before a request reaches /ueditor.
