SQL injection in wliang6 ChatEngine 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through a crafted chat message. The chatWindow servlet concatenates the txtMsg request parameter directly into an INSERT statement executed through a JDBC Statement, without parameter binding or escaping. No privileges or user interaction are required; successful injection exposes database confidentiality, with no documented integrity or availability impact.
