Stored script execution via unescaped session username

Stored XSS in wliang6 ChatEngine 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user’s browser via a crafted username. The chatWindow servlet reads the username from the HTTP session and writes it directly into an HTML response with out.println, without escaping or sanitizing it. Execution occurs when another user opens the chatWindow page, exposing that user’s browser session to attacker-controlled script.
