TCP session termination via unchecked NAT state transitions

TCP session hijacking in COMFAST CF-616AC routers allows attackers on the same Wi-Fi network to terminate client connections. The router preserves NAT source ports, accepts spoofed traffic without strict reverse-path validation, and fails to validate TCP sequence numbers before forged RST packets move a victim mapping into the CLOSE state. An active victim TCP flow and shared Wi-Fi access are required; the demonstrated availability impact is forced connection termination rather than a device crash or reboot.
