Note deletion via unverified cross-site request
Published Jun 1, 2023 · Updated Nov 22, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in GouguCMS Gougu OA Office System 4.50.31 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete notes via a crafted request. The /note/index/delete endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled id for a state-changing deletion without verifying that the signed-in user intended the request. Exploitation requires a user with an active authenticated session to load attacker-controlled content, and the resulting deletion is limited to notes that session can delete.
