Script execution via unsanitized diagram labels
Published Jun 1, 2023 · Updated Jan 10, 2025
Stored XSS in draw.io before 21.2.8 allows remote attackers to execute script in the editor origin through malicious diagram labels. The affected label-invalidation path uses diagram label content without sanitization, allowing stored markup to reach browser rendering. No authentication or user interaction is required under the CNA assessment, and executed script can read or alter data available to the editor origin.
