Browser script execution via unencoded registration parameters
Published May 11, 2023 · Updated Jan 27, 2025
Reflected XSS in Webkul QloApps 1.5.2 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through registration requests. The front-office authentication flow reflects the back and email_create parameters into the registration response without sufficient output encoding, allowing injected event-handler markup to run. Exploitation requires user interaction with a crafted registration request; the script then accesses data and performs actions available to the QloApps site in that browser.
