Authenticated code execution via case-sensitive PHP filtering
Published May 29, 2023 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
PHP code injection in Dolibarr before 17.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through the CMS Website module. The case-sensitive checks in core/lib/website2.lib.php recognize only lowercase PHP opening tags, so mixed-case tags bypass PHP and forbidden-function filtering. Exploitation requires an authenticated account with access to the enabled CMS Website module and runs commands with the web server's privileges.
