Broken authentication in 4D SAS 4D Server 17, 18, and 19 R7 and earlier allows remote attackers to perform arbitrary actions via crafted TCP packets. The server accepts nonessential requests before authentication and processes packets injected into a client-server TCP connection as authorized client actions. Exploitation requires the server private key and the built-in password system; demonstrated consequences include changing passwords and creating users.
