Published May 3, 2023 · Updated Jan 30, 2025
Stored XSS in DouPHP 1.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary scripts in another user’s browser via an article unique_id. The /admin/article.php handler stores the unique_id parameter without neutralizing it before later web-page generation. Exploitation requires administrative privileges and another user to view the stored content, exposing or altering browser-accessible data.
