Unauthenticated SQL injection via ajax.php parameters
Published May 10, 2023 · Updated Jan 27, 2025
SQL injection in PosThemes Static Footer 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through the ajax.php endpoint. Depending on the module variant, getPosCurrentHook concatenates module_id or a module name into SQL without integer casting or pSQL escaping. The exposed endpoint requires no authentication, works even when the module is disabled, and permits database reads, writes, or deletion.
