Unauthenticated SQL injection via uncast module identifier
Published May 16, 2023 · Updated Jan 23, 2025
SQL injection in Posthemes posstaticblocks 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read, alter, or delete shop database data. The getPosCurrentHook() method concatenates the POST-supplied module_id and related values into SQL queries without integer casts or SQL escaping. No authentication, activation, or user interaction is required when ajax.php exists in the module root, enabling database theft or modification and administrator takeover.
