Service interruption via exposed native allocation functions
Published Aug 14, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Memory exhaustion in ONLYOFFICE Document Server 4.0.3 through 7.3.2 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via crafted JavaScript. The doctrenderer V8 bridge exposes Save_AllocNative and Save_ReAllocNative to document JavaScript, letting untrusted code request repeated or oversized native allocations without a limiting guard. Unauthenticated network delivery of a crafted file is sufficient, and processing can exhaust server memory and make document services unavailable.
