Remote code execution via exposed native buffer primitives
Published Aug 14, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Out-of-bounds memory access in ONLYOFFICE DocumentServer 4.0.3 through 7.3.2 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted JavaScript. The doctrenderer V8 bridge exposes Save_AllocNative and Save_ReAllocNative to untrusted scripts, allowing attacker-controlled lengths and positions to drive native save-buffer operations beyond valid memory bounds. The server must process the crafted file through its document-conversion path; successful exploitation runs code in the DocumentServer process context.
