Unauthenticated SQL injection via uncast cart identifier
Published Jul 18, 2023 · Updated Oct 28, 2024
SQL injection in Payplug for PrestaShop 3.6.0 through 3.7.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through the ajax front controller. PayplugAjaxModuleFrontController concatenates the cart_id GET parameter into the id_cart WHERE clause without first casting it to an integer. No authentication or user interaction is required; injected queries can read or alter shop data, create administrative access, or interrupt service.
