Unauthenticated database disclosure via sub_event_id SQL injection
Published Apr 20, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Judging Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through sub_event_id. The print_judges.php endpoint accepts crafted SQL in that parameter; the published updatexml payload returns the active database name in an error. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is database information disclosure through the application response.
