Database disclosure and code execution via sub_event_id injection
Published Jan 12, 2024 · Updated Jun 3, 2025
SQL injection in oretnom23 Judging Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data via sub_event_id. The sub_event_stat_update.php endpoint incorporates sub_event_id into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax; the published error-based payload extracts the active database name. No account or user interaction is required, and successful injection exposes database contents and permits arbitrary code execution on the server.
