Stack overflow in D-Link DIR-605L firmware 1.17B01 BETA allows remote attackers to compromise the router via a crafted web request. The /goform/formTcpipSetup handler writes attacker-controlled request data beyond a stack buffer, although public records omit the parameter and unsafe copy operation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can disclose or alter data or interrupt service.
