Authorization bypass via shared privileged SQL credentials

Incorrect authorization in Sage 300 through 2022 allows remote authenticated users to bypass role controls via direct SQL access. The workstation client receives a common privileged SQL login and enforces Sage roles only in client code, leaving the database unaware of those restrictions. A low-privileged workstation account in Windows Peer-to-Peer Network or Client Server Network deployments can recover the connection string and directly read, create, update, or delete any company record.
