Unauthenticated file access via unrestricted texteditor.php
Published May 23, 2023 · Updated Jan 17, 2025
Incorrect permissions in CONTEC SolarView Compact 6.0 and earlier allow remote attackers to read or modify server files. The texteditor.php page accepts an attacker-chosen file location and exposes file-editing functions without authentication or an access restriction. Network access to the appliance web interface is sufficient, and exploitation exposes or alters any server file reachable through the component.
